I know there is some self transformation happening with me but i am not able to figure it out. I am also at times distracted to watch my thoughts that go hrough the mind. I just wanted to show you my deep appreciation and sharing your personal experiences and I for one love it. I often take snippets of phrass from the book and quote from it. Its only with the intention of absorb the meaning. Coz the more you read the more is your knowledge. And your example of the self and I, is brilliantly written. I can understand that because I was also ar the point a few years back.

Re: Stillness Speaks: Meditative thoughts by Eckhart Tolle

thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Re: Stillness Speaks: Meditative thoughts by Eckhart Tolle

thank you for the power of now each moment of the day is precious. more often than not i am aware when i am not present in the 'now'. i am hoping to read stillness speaks when i can get.

Re: Stillness Speaks: Meditative thoughts by Eckhart Tolle

@ Lisa, I agree sometimes it is just best to go in with an open mind. Cheers

@ Happy Lotus, The power of Now was very significant in helping me realize that I will be as happy or peaceful as I make my mind up to be.

@ Eddie, For Sure!

@ Peter, Glad you enjoyed it. His voice and pace of his reading really carries that essence of stillness.

Loved the quotes you picked, especially the one from page 44.

Re: Stillness Speaks: Meditative thoughts by Eckhart Tolle

One of my favorites books,

It is not the easiest thing, for me, to stay in a present for very long. I am mediating, but not as regularly as I should

Will need to work on a habit to do it consistently

Re: Stillness Speaks: Meditative thoughts by Eckhart Tolle

Eckhart Tolle's books are a must read. He is one of my favorites. Thank you so much for such a great post. Stillness is so powerful and the selections you put up were perfect.

Re: Stillness Speaks: Meditative thoughts by Eckhart Tolle

To dream of becoming a writer in future is to forget what you already are at present. Shift thoughts to the now and revive where you are

Re: Stillness Speaks: Meditative thoughts by Eckhart Tolle

Another lovely post, the photographs are a nice touch. Always such a nice energy behind your posts. I often have a similar experience in bookstores - I go in without a specific purpose, and then end up finding the perfect book that I didn't know I was looking for.
